How Do I Have a Business and a Family?

My Dad was a successful store owner and, as his only daughter, I inherited the shop. I have always loved the business and am good at it. However, I quickly discovered that business for women is different than for men. Dad came home to dinner on the table and a clean, scrubbed child who had done her homework, thanks to Mom. My husband has his own business and I still have to care for our son. It’s that way for most women, too. I joined a networking group and we share ideas, help each other emotionally, and find solutions. In my opinion, that’s one thing women do much better than men – help each other.
