A pretty LBD with lace and satin

Big party on Friday and I finally found a Little Black Dress that will work very well. It’s a come hither number in a restrained sort of way and I think it should work well with the invitees who are mostly business associates. It’s been a long hunt for something that clicked. is it me? Am I getting jaundiced by the current offerings which seem to me to have very little pizazz. Anyway, the dress is a Suzi Chin Boutique Lace and satin Sheath Dress which I found at Nordstroms. Ornate eyelash lace overlays the pleated, scoop-neck bodice. It has a back zip with hook-and-eye closure and the approx. length from shoulder to hem is 42″. Fully lined. Silk/rayon/nylon/spandex bodice with acetate/nylon/spandex skirt. It cost me $168 which was just about within my budget range. Everything’s getting so tight!
