You Cannot Trust Just Anyone To Do Your Deck Stain

I had a friend in high school that eventually went into his own business and started staining decks. This seemed to be perfect because when I bought my first house I was still friends with him and I decided to call him out to do my deck stain for me. He came over, gave me a great deal of a price, and then did the job. I did not have the heart to tell him that it looked horrible when it was done, so I paid and let him leave. It had to be fixed immediately so I called out someone else to strip it and fix it.
