Symptoms of Vitamin Deficiency

By admin | April 30, 2009

A problem with levels of vitamins can be present in different ways, according to the vitamin you lack of.  As you may know, we get most of vitamins from food (with the exception of Vitamin D, which we get from sun exposure).  So it is good to keep a nutritive diet.

Symptoms of vitamin deficiency will vary. For example in the case of vitamin D, the signs can be rickets, bone and muscular pain, insomnia and a paler skin tone. In the case of Vitamin A, they can be loss of appetite, insomnia, eye problems, among others.

If you are a pregnant woman or if you are breastfeeding, the risks of vitamin problems are greater, always take special multivitamins to prevent symptoms.
