shed those extra pounds

By admin | December 17, 2009

When people are looking to shed extra pounds they typically ask others for tips for losing weight.  My suggestions revolve around what to do when a person has hit a plateau and wants to get the weight loss jump started again.  One thing to do is to change what you are eating.  When people are dieting they tend to find diet friendly foods they like and then eat about the same 15 foods all the time.  If you have been eating fruit and yogurt for breakfast trying having eggs and whole grain toast instead.  Change your workout routine.  Do a different level of intensity, workout at a different time of day and vary the length of the workout.  Plus to help with metabolism start eating a different number of calories every day so your body does not put itself into permanent starvation mode and hang on to every calorie it can.  For instance instead of eating 1,400 calories every day have 1,200 for a couple of days and then 1,800.   Keep switching it up just making sure to average 1,400 calories a day over a weeks time.
