My Son Asked Me What Do Hives Look Like

My phone rang last night and it was my son who is in a college nearby home. He had been to a party at some gallery opening and he had eaten some things that were on the buffet table. He began to panic when he realized he had bumps that appeared all over his legs and his arms. He called me to ask me what do hives look like, and I told him to get to a doctor to make sure that was what he was seeing and feeling. He called later to tell me that he had a food reaction and they were all gone now.
