Snow, car insurance and antifreeze
By admin | February 10, 2010
It’s so easy to scratch your car if there is a thick layer of snow covering it, I don’t know of any car insurance covering that. Although you might not be able to imagine it but there is a lot of dirt beneath that layer of frozen water, and due to the fact that it is frozen, there is no safe way to remove the snow. Well you can wait until it melts away but that usually doesn’t happen in time. The other method would be to use warm water but the bad thing about that is, that it will freeze again as it cools down. I considered using antifreeze in the warm water but first this doesn’t work too good and second it’s quite bad for the enviroment. The only thing that works for me is to hide my car either in the garage or beneath a plastic coat.
