The Acoustic Guitar Lesson That Saved The Homeless Guy

Once there was this guy who lived in the park near my house. And when the city began its homeless eradication program, everybody was worried about him. Turns out he used to be a high school music teacher. What saved him was when he started to give people an acoustic guitar lesson. He started giving them underneath a cherry tree, but when the city realized the value of this to the culture of the city, they gave him a free apartment downtown. Now he works for the city, giving people guitar lessons. It’s not every day that you hear such a story with a happy ending like this.
